FDC Law Supports Children In Need
09.11.2011
FDC Law solicitors in Frome, Keynsham and Midsomer Norton are donating to Children In Need by giving all the proceeds from will writing on Friday, 18th November 2011 to the charity. FDC Law will be freeing up an entire day for clients to visit their offices and give their will instructions.
James Hollis, Partner with FDC Law in Frome and one of the lawyers taking part, said, "As a firm we want to give something to Children In Need, so we are offering four of our legal advisors – one in our Keynsham Office, one in our Midsomer Norton office and two in our Frome office – to be available all day to see pre-booked will clients. All anyone has to do is book an appointment in advance and then, when they pay for the will, we will donate 100% of the fee to Children In Need."
"The day will operate on a first-come, first served basis," added Darrell Collins, Partner with FDC Law in Midsomer Norton, "but if the four of us are kept busy all day we estimate between £3,000 and £4,000 could be raised for the charity. As we want to try and raise as much money as possible for the charity, the offer is only available for standard wills and any appointment for wills of a more complicated nature, which naturally might take more time to complete, will not be available on Children In Need day."
"This is the second time we have run this event and last year it proved to be popular." says Brian Noctor, Practice Manager. "We are all pleased to be giving something to this worthwhile cause and continue to explore other ventures to support local charities."
FDC Law solicitors are located at Norton House, High Street, Midsomer Norton, Argyll House, Bath Street, Frome and 60A, High Street, Keynsham. For more information and full terms and conditions please call the offices on 01761 417575 (Midsomer Norton), 01373 465051 (Frome) or 0117 916 1088 (Keynsham) respectively.
