A Fresh Look for Midsomer Norton High Street
29.08.2011
FDC Law were pleased recently to be able to help with the ongoing efforts to improve the look of Midsomer Norton town centre and assist with the town’s entry for South West in Bloom 2011.
There have been a number of initiatives during 2011 – most significantly the work to reclaim and reshape the town's river bed, which required a significant amount of mud being removed and the planting of lots of shrubs, herbs and flowers along the new river course. This work has seen a huge improvement to the look of the river, which we are sure anyone who has visited the town centre recently would agree with.
Work has also taken place with local retailers and the Chamber of Commerce resulting in hanging baskets being placed all along the High Street and a lot of effort has been made to improve the floral displays at The Hollies’ garden display in the centre of town, work that was sponsored by FDC Law.
We wish the town well with their entry for South West in Bloom 2011.
