Mr Spenser Poultney, Legalbullies and Solicitors from Hell

If you search for FDC Law via an internet search engine, such as Google or Bing, you may notice that a number of websites appear in the results list which are critical of the firm, including Legal Bullies, LCS Test and Solicitors From Hell (.co.uk).
Two of these websites were created by a Mr. Spenser Poultney, who appears also to have submitted allegations about FDC Law to the third website. We wish to make it clear that Mr. Poultney has never been a client of FDC Law and that, in the matter he complains of, he was in fact the opponent in a case we dealt with in 2005. Orders against him for payment to be made were awarded by the Court, who of course had the opportunity of thoroughly considering all the evidence.
We are aware that Mr. Poultney has also recorded multiple entries against FDC Law on the Solicitors From Hell (.co.uk) website. Again, all relate to the same matter where Mr. Poultney was the opponent. The comments are inaccurate, misleading and at least three of them relate to individuals who left the firm several years ago.
As you may have seen in the news (a link to a recent news stories is attached below), the Solicitors from Hell (.co.uk) website has been forced by the courts to remove similarly unfounded allegations about a number of other firms from their website. They have also made it clear that they do not check the accuracy of allegations made nor permit a right of reply. It has been made clear to us that we would have to take court action to have the websites removed and that process is likely to take a considerable amount of time and be very costly. We have taken the view that we shall continue to focus on providing an excellent service to our clients rather than diverting resources to remove these malicious allegations.
